Analyses of Mevlana’s Caftans

Dyestuff analysis was performed on the clothing of Mevlana in the Konya Mevlana Museum, and raports were written to assist in their restoration and preservation.

The analysis of Mevlana’s clothing (Inventory number 698) yielded:
Blue: Indigotin (Isatis tinctoria L.)
